Summary: Rush Revere, a
middle school teacher, travels back in time with his horse, Liberty, in order
to study the Pilgrims and Puritans who traveled to the New World on the
Mayflower. Rush films the events as they occur with live videos. The story
tells who and why the travelers chose to make this dangerous trip. Included in
the book are maps and photos to help understand the Pilgrims and their reasons
for beginning a new life in an unknown and harsh new world.
Review: This is a great
book for American History buffs, including teachers, parents, and students. It
is an excellent time travel adventure as well as humorous, clever and
informative.
